2 Beef Tenderloin Steaks
1 Bottle of Guinness Stout Beer
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brown sugar
Salt & Pepper
1 shallot (minced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
2 tbsp cornstarch slurry
2 tbsp chopped parsley

Sear beef tenderloin & butter to medium rare and set aside; in the same pan, saute the shallot and garlic.

When tender, deglaze pan with beef broth and beer. Reduce by half. Add parsley and sugar. Thicken slightly with cornstarch slurry. Serve over steaks with steamed carrots and potatoes.
