3 cups self-rising flour
6 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 12 ounce can beer
1 stick butter, softened

Heat oven to 350. Grease a bread pan. In a large bowl, hand mix all except butter. Spoon dough into the pan and bake for 45 minutes. Remove bread and rub with butter until all butter is melted. Return to oven and bake 15 more minutes.
