2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed
1/2 cup onion, finely minced
1 tbsp margarine or butter
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp prepared yellow mustard
1 tbsp A1 (or other) steak sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1-2 tsp liquid smoke
2 cup ketchup
1 cup beer
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup brown sugar, packed
In a medium saucepan, cook garlic and onion til tender and translucent. Toss in the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook over low heat about 25 minutes, until thickened slightly.
