1 pkg lemon cake mix
1 small pkg lime gelatin
3/4 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 pkg vanilla pudding mix
1 cup milk
1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Cool completely and poke holes on top of cake with a two-pronged fork. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water after gelatin has been completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature and then pour over cake, covering holes completely; try not to let gelatin run down sides of cake (it will make it mushy). Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

Mix pudding with milk and fold in whipped topping. Spread over cake. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
