3/4 lb ground beef
1 slice whole wheat bread, crumbled
1/4 cup salsa
4 clove garlic, finely chopped
2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce
3 cups hot cooked rice

Mix first 4 ingredients and shape into 1 1/2 inch meatballs. Brown in skillet. Stir in tomato sauce. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until meatballs are no longer pink in center. Serve over rice. Serves 4
