1 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp vanilla
1 cup chopped nuts
1 (16 oz) pkg miniature marshmallows

Preheat oven to 325. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and beat. Sift dry ingredients and add to mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes. While still warm, cover with marshmallows. When cool, spread icing.

Icing
1/3 cup cocoa
1 lb powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup cream or evaporated milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup nuts

Sift cocoa with powdered sugar. Add butter, cream, vanilla and nuts. Blend and spread over cake.
