1 lb strawberries, hulled and sliced
3 tbsp sugar
4 tbsp Frangelico
1 pint mascarpone, at room temperature
Pound cake

Mix strawberries, sugar, and 3 tbsp of Frangelico and allow to macerate for an hour at room temperature. Whip remaining Frangelico with mascarpone.

Place one or two pieces of pound cake in the bottom of a glass, drizzle with some of the strawberry juice, add a spoonful of mascarpone, and a couple of spoonfuls of strawberries. Repeat and add a last dollop of mascarpone to the top layer of berries. Serves 4.
