1 pkg fudge brownie mix, baked with ingredients according to pkg directions
4 oz chocolate syrup
1/2 cup coffee liqueur
3 pkg instant chocolate mousse
24 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed
1 pkg toffee with chocolate pieces or 8 regular size toffee bars, chopped
While brownies are baking, mix together the chocolate syrup and coffee liqueur. Pour about half of that mixture into a large glass serving dish. When the brownies are done and cooled, break it up into chunks and put on top of the chocolate mixture in the serving dish.
Sprinkle 1/2 of candy over top. Pour half of remaining syrup mixture on top of candy and refrigerate.
Make the mousse according to pkg directions. Spread the mousse on top in the serving bowl and reserve 1/4 cup of the chopped candy for garnish and top the remaining candy over the mousse.
Spread whipped topping on top and sprinkle with candy. Drizzle the remaining chocolate syrup mixture on top and serve. OR: save the remaining chocolate mixture and drizzle on each individual serving and garnish with reserve candy bits.
