Category: Fish and Seafood
Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

1/3 cup pure maple syrup
2 tbsp brown sugar
1/3 cup white wine
1 tsp sesame seed oil
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 scallions, minced
1 tsp fresh ginger root, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Black pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients. Immerse 2 salmon filets in marinade in a resealable bag). Place in the refrigerator and marinate for 3 hours. Grill on medium heat for 6 to 10 minutes on each side (depending on the thickness of the filets) or until meat flakes easily, basting each side with marinade.

NOTE: I also added some apple wood chips to the grill for a sweet & smoky flavor. These can also be broiled.
