1/4 cup olive oil
12 oz white mushrooms, halved (quartered if large)
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp coarse salt
1/4 tsp red-pepper flakes
Freshly ground pepper

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms, and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in vinegar, salt, and red-pepper flakes, and season with pepper. Cook 1 minute more. Transfer to a bowl, and serve. Serves 4

NOTE: These are also good placed in a grill basket on high heat turning about every 2 minutes or until they are golden brown and evenly cooked.
