1 (16 oz) pkg linguine, cooked al dente
1/2 cup butter
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup pesto
1 lb large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined

Drain pasta and set aside. Meanwhile, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Stir in cream and pepper. Cook, stirring constantly, for 6-8 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese into cream sauce until thoroughly mixed. Blend in pesto and cook 3-5 minutes or until thickened. Stir in shrimp. Serve over pasta
