SEAFOOD ALEXANDRIA

1 cup butter
1 large clove garlic, split
1 tsp crushed tarragon, chopped chives, parsley and salt
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lb peeled raw shrimp, scallops and fresh mushrooms, halved

In a skillet, melt butter and saute the garlic for about 1 minute. Discard garlic. Add spices. Turn heat to high an quickly saute seafood and mushrooms until shrimp are pink. Allow seafood to remain in the juices for 5 minutes longer. Reheat to boiling point, and pour into chafing dish over low flame.
