1 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced
8 tbsp butter, divided
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk, heated
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 (10 oz) boxes frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 (1 lb) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1/2 cup sour cream and mayonnaise
2 tbsp lemon juice
Nutmeg

In a large skillet, sauté mushrooms in 6 tbsp butter; remove mushrooms and set aside. Add remaining 2 tbsp butter to drippings in skillet; when melted, stir in flour and cook until bubbly. Add milk and stir until mixture is smooth. Add salt, pepper, spinach and mushrooms. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Cover bottom of a 13x9 inch baking pan with artichoke hearts. Pour spinach mixture over artichokes. Mix together remaining ingredients and spread over top of spinach mixture. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes. Serves 8
