1 chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz) softened cream cheese
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
Dash of salt
1 (6 oz) pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Fill paper baking cups in muffin pans 2/3 full. Cream the cheese with the sugar; beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop one rounded teaspoon of cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake according to package directions. Makes about 30. Frost with favorite icing or leave plain.
