1 cup roasted hazelnuts
3/4 cup butter, sliced and chilled
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 350. In a food processor, coarsely grind nuts. Add butter and sugar, process thoroughly. Place nut mixture in a mixing bowl and add flour 1/2 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Make 1 1/2 inch balls of dough and place on a nonstick cookie sheet, about 1/2 inch apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes.

NOTE: Good dipped or drizzled in melted chocolate and placed on waxed paper until chocolate is set. Dough can also be rolled into a log and sliced 1/4 inch thick.
