Sausage and Veggie Skillet

Category: Sausage

One 13.5 ounce package of Johnsonville Turkey Sausage with Cheese (or an equal amount of any pre-cooked sausage), cut into bite size rounds

A one pound container of pre-sliced fajita mix from the produce section of the grocery store, or the following: One medium onion, cut into thin half moon shaped slices, One red pepper, cut into thin strips, One orange pepper, cut into thin strips

One zucchini squash, cut into bite size cubes

One summer squash, cut into bite size cubes

Olive oil

a clove garlic, minced

salt and pepper to taste

fresh basil

Preheat a large skillet over medium high heat. Heat 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil. Add onions, peppers, and squashes to the pan. Add minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste. Saute for 10 minutes. Add sausage and fresh basil, saute for 5 more minutes.
