1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4cup bourbon
1 cup flour
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
Slightly beaten egg white
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar with a mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Add bourbon and mix well.
Combine flour and cocoa and gradually add to butter and sugar mixture, beating until well mixed. Chill until firm enough to handle.
Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll in egg white, then in pecans. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes, or until edges are firm. The center will be soft. Cool on baking sheet. Makes 30
