3 large onions chopped
2 bell peppers chopped
1 cup oil
1 (8oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6oz) can tomato paste
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped parsley
2 cloves garlic, minced
6 cup water
5 tsp salt
Black pepper and cayenne to taste
2 bay leaves
4 cup raw rice
2 lbs peeled and deveined shrimp

Saute onions and peppers in oil till transparent; add tomato sauce and paste and cook on low heat for 1 hour. Add remaining ingredients, stir well and bring to boil. Pour into a greased baking dish, cover and bake at 300 for 1 hour or till rice is cooked. Serves 8
