1 1/2 cup rice
1 env dry onion soup mix
1 stick butter
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup bell pepper
1 onion, chopped
1 small can mushrooms
1 cup grated cheese
1 lb hot sausage, cooked and drained
3 cup water
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook and drain the sausage. Place rice in a 3-quart casserole; add soup mix, water, then vegetables, and sausage. Top with cheese in the last 15 minutes of baking time. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
