SPICY RIBEYES WITH GRILLED SWEET ONIONS

4 (8 oz) ribeye steaks, 1 inch thick
2 large sweet onions, cut into 1/2 inch slices
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 lime quartered

Seasoning mixture
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ground cumin, salt and dried oregano leaves, crushed
1/4 tsp ground red pepper

In a bowl, combine seasoning ingredients. Press evenly into both sides of steaks. Brush onions with oil and place on grid over medium coals. Grilled, uncovered, 15-20 minutes or until tender, turning once. Grill steaks 11 to 14 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness; turn once. Season onion with seasoning mixture or salt and pepper. Squeeze lime over steaks and onions. Serves 4
