1 lb boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1/4 inch thick slices across the grain
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup sliced onions
2 clove garlic, minced
1 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup water
1 tsp beef bouillon granules
1/4 tsp ground cumin and pepper
2 cups quartered fresh mushrooms
1/2 medium green and red bell peppers, cut into strips
2 tbsp plain yogurt or sour cream
1/2 tsp cornstarch
Hot cooked noodles
In a skillet, brown steak in 1 tbsp oil; remove and set aside. Saute onions and garlic in remaining oil until tender. Stir in next 5 ingredients. Heat to boiling and add mushrooms and peppers. Cover and simmer 5 minutes.
Add reserved steak and any accumulated meat juices; heat. Combine yogurt and cornstarch; stir into meat mixture and heat until thickened. Serve over noodles. Serves 4
