12 peeled and deveined medium-sized fresh shrimp
12 jalapeno pepper, split with seed and membranes removed
6 bacon slices, halved lengthwise

Carefully place shrimp in cavity of each pepper. Wrap with bacon and secure with a wooden pick. Place in a jellyroll pan and broil 5 1/2 inches from heat, 6-7 minutes on each side or until bacon is cooked. Serve warm.
