STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM PIE

1 (16 oz) pkg frozen strawberries, thawed.
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar
Slice pound cake or ladyfingers
3 egg whites
1/2 cup marshmallow creme

Mash strawberries in a food processor. Add next 3 ingredients. Place in freezer and semi-freeze to consistency of stiffly whipped cream. Cover the bottom of an 8 inch square baking dish with slices of cake. Spread strawberry mixture over cake and place in freezer until frozen.

When ready to serve, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Add marshmallow creme and beat until smooth. Spread over ice cream, being certain to spread meringue completely to edge of dish. Place under broiler for a few seconds to brown. Serve immediately. Serves 9
