BAKED CHICKEN TERIYAKI

1 whole chicken, cleaned
1/2 cup dry sherry
1/4 cup soy sauce and honey
2 tbsp orange juice
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 tsp ground ginger

Place chicken in a resealable bag. Combine remaining ingredients and pour half the marinade over the chicken; reserving remaining for basting. Close bag and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Preheat oven to 375. Drain chicken and place breast side up on rack in a shallow roasting pan. Bake, uncovered, basting several times with reserved marinade, until chicken is done.
