1 lb smoked sausage, chopped
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, chopped
1/2 cup sliced celery
3 cups potatoes, cubed
3 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup milk

Melt butter in a Dutch oven and saute vegetables until tender. Add potatoes and broth; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

In a small bowl, combine sour cream and soup, add to chowder and stir in the milk. Heat, but do not allow to boil. Serves 6-8
