1 (8 oz) pkg seasoned stuffing mix
1/2 cup butter melted in 1 cups hot water
2 1/2 cups cooked, diced chicken
1/2 cup diced celery
1/4 cup chopped mushrooms, green onion and regular onion
1/2 cup mayonnaise, not salad dressing
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Mix first 3 ingredients lightly and place half in a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Mix vegetables, mayonnaise and seasonings and spread over stuffing mixture; to with another layer of stuffing mix.

Beat the eggs and milk together and pour over the casserole; refrigerate overnight. Take out of refrigerator 1 hour before baking and spread soup. Bake for 40 minutes at 325. Sprinkle with cheese and bake until cheese melts, about 10 minutes.
