2 lbs navy beans
1/2 lb loin ribs, cut apart and rubbed with salt
1/2 cup light molasses
1 tsp dry mustard and salt
Pepper
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp grated onions.
Prepare beans according to package directions. Preheat oven to 325. Pour beans into a large pot and add fresh water to cover, and cook 30 minutes or until they show signs of cracking. Drain completely and pour into a 3-4 quart baking dish. Add remaining ingredients and enough water to cover. Bake for 3 hours, adding water if beans start to become to dry. Serves 24
