1 purchased loaf pound cake
1 pint whipped topping
1/4 cup Kahlua or Tia Maria
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted in 325 degree oven for 15 minutes
1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Split the cake lengthwise into three layers. Put one layer on plate and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Mix the whipping topping with the Kahlua. Spread a layer of the Kahlua flavored topping. Repeat with next layer, and then put on top layer. Spread topping on layer and drizzle with chocolate syrup. Sprinkle the toasted almonds on top. Chill in refrigerator 2 hours before serving.
