1/3 cup butter, softened
1 box devils food cake mix with pudding
1 egg
3 cups miniature marshmallows
1/4 cup butter
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1 (11.5 oz) pkg milk chocolate chips
3 cups crisp rice cereal
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp vanilla extract

Process first 3 ingredients until crumbly. Press into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven and bake 5 more minutes or until marshmallows are puffy. Remove from oven.

Combine next 3 ingredients in a Dutch oven and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in remaining ingredients and spread quickly over marshmallow mixture. Cool slightly. Chill until firm. Let stand 10 minutes or at room temperature before cutting into bars.
