STRAWBERRY PIE

Crust
1 cup flour
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 cup butter, melted

Filling
1 quart fresh strawberries, washed and stemmed
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups water
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 (3 oz) box strawberry Jell-O

Stir together crust ingredients and press into pie crust. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Place strawberries on top of cooked crust. In a saucepan, combine with sugar water, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and stir constantly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes. Remove from heat; add Jell-O and mix until dissolved. Cool slightly. Pour over berries. Cool in refrigerator at least 2 hours.
