1/2 cup butter
1/4 tsp granulated garlic and Old Bay Seasoning mix
1 tbsp parsley flakes and dried basil
1 cup asparagus tips, broccoli florets, green onion slices and sliced carrots
1 lb salmon fillets cut into small serving pieces
1 cup flour
2 quarts half-and-half or milk
6-8 oz grated Italian cheese (I like the 5-cheese blend)
Pinch pepper
2-3 lbs fettuccine, cooked al dente, drained

Melt butter in skillet. Add seasonings and vegetables. Add salmon and simmer until cooked through. Add the flour and 1quart half-and-half. Simmer, and stir. Add remaining half-and-half, and simmer until it blends. Add cheese and pepper. Simmer to thicken slightly. If it gets to thin, add more milk; if too thin, add more flour. Serve over pasta. Serves 8-10
