6 large potatoes, quartered
6 medium sweet onions, quartered
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp dried basil
1/2 tsp dried marjoram and garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 375. Place potatoes and onions in a shallow pan and pour oil over vegetables. Sprinkle with seasonings. Stir to coat vegetables on all sides. Bake, uncovered, 1 hour, or until fork-tender, turning occasionally to keep from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
