TEXAS SIZZLERS

1 1/2 lbs flank steak, sliced into 4 inch lengths and 1/4 inch strips
1/2 cup salsa
12 whole jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
1/4 cup herbed cream cheese
Toothpicks

When slicing the meat, make sure that meat is sliced across the grain holding the knife at an angle. Marinate strips in salsa at least 1 hour. Fill each jalapeno half with 1/2 tsp cream cheese. Wrap filled jalapenos with a steak strip covering cream cheese as you wrap. Fasten steak ends with toothpick. Grill or broil 4 inches from heat for 4 minutes turning after 2 minutes. Do not overcook.
