1 1/2 cups chopped cooked chicken
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
1 (1.25 oz) envelope taco-seasoning mix
12 oz Monterey Jack cheese with peppers, shredded
3 tbsp salsa
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
50 wonton wrappers

In a mixing bowl, combine first 7 ; stir. Place 1 tsp of mixture in center of each wonton wrapper. Moisten wonton wrapper edges with water. Bring corners together, pressing to seal.

In a Dutch oven, pour oil to a 2-inch depth and heat to 350. Fry wontons in batches until golden, turning once. Drain on paper towels. Serve immediately.
