1 box German chocolate cake mix
8 oz butterscotch ice cream topping
2 large butterfingers, crushed; reserving 1/2 of 1 bar for garnish
1 large container whipped topping, thawed
1 cup chopped pecans

Bake cake according to package directions. While cake is still hot, pour butterscotch topping over cake, poking holes in cake to topping soaks in. Cool completely.

Mix crushed butterfingers with whipped topping and spread over cooled cake. Sprinkle with reserved candy. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
