MARINATED GREEK-STYLE OLIVES

1 (6 oz) can pitted ripe black olives, drained
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 slices lemon
2 whole cloves garlic
1 tsp dried oregano, crushed
3/4 cup olive oil

In an airtight container, combine ingredients except olive oil. Let stand, covered, at room temperature, for 2 days, stirring occasionally. Pour in the olive oil over the olives until completely covered. Cover container with airtight lid. Refrigerate the olive mixture for 2 days, rempve lemon slices. Bring to room temperature before serving.
