1 1/2 lbs round steak, 3/4 inch thick
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/3 cup Italian dry bread crumbs
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup oil
1 medium, minced
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper and garlic powder
1/2 tsp marjoram and sugar
1 (16 oz) can tomato paste
1/2 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced

Place meat in between to sheets wax paper and pout until thin. Cut into 6 pieces. Mix parmesan cheese and bread crumbs. Dip beef in eggs; roll in crumb mixture and brown beef in a skillet on both sides in oil. Arrange in a shallow baking dish.

Cover onion in pan drippings in skillet over low heat, stir in seasonings and tomato paste. Add 2 cups water gradually, stirring constantly. Cook 3 minutes, scraping pan. Pour two-thirds of the sauce over the beef. Top with cheese slices; top with remaining sauce. Bake at 350 for 1 hour or until tender.
