1 (32 oz) jar ketchup
1 cup molasses
1 1/2 tbsp hot sauce
1 1/2 medium onions, chopped fine
1 large green bell pepper, chopped fine
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tsp garlic powder
2 1/2 tbsp dry mustard
3 tbsp vinegar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup liquid smoke and Worcestershire sauce
Combine ingredients in a large pot. Use 1/4 cup water to rinse out ketchup bottle and pour into pot. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer until onions and peppers are tender, about 2 hours.
