MOCHA RUM SAUCE

6 oz unsalted butter
8 oz unsweetened cocoa, sifted
2 tbsp Myer’s Dark Rum
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/3 cups heavy cream
1 1/4 tsp instant coffee
1 tbsp Myer’s Dark Rum
1 tsp vanilla extract

Heat butter in a saucepan. Add next 5 ingredients. Stir with a whisk to combine. Bring to a boil, then adjust the heat and allow to simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir until smooth. Allow to cool to room temperature before serving.

NOTE: Serve on brownies, ice cream, chocolate cake or any dessert you like.
