1/2 lb butter, softened
2 cups flour
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
Pinch salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
1 tbsp lemon rind
6 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup flour

Work first 5 ingredients together and pat into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

Beat eggs and sugar until thick and creamy. Add lemon rind and juice. Add dry ingredients and pour mixture into warm pastry and bake until golden brown. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar while warm. Slice when cold.
