1 yellow cake mix
1 (16 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup sugar
1 small box vanilla instant pudding
2 cups milk
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
3 bananas
1 small container whipped topping
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup diced maraschino cherries

Bake cake according to package directions in a 13x9 inch baking pan. Mix sugar and pineapple in a sauce, boil for 5 minutes, pour evenly over cake while everything is still hot. Cool and set aside. Put milk, cream cheese and pudding together in a bowl and beat well. Spread evenly over cold cake. Slice bananas evenly over cake, top with whipped topping, pecans and cherries. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
