1/4 cup flour
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 lb pork, cut into medium cubes
1 tbsp oil
2 medium onions, diced
1/2 tsp minced garlic and caraway seed
1 cup chicken broth and beer
1 tbsp red wine vinegar and packed brown sugar
Heat oil in a soup pot. Blend together flour, salt and pepper. Toss the pork in the flour and brown in the hot oil. Add the onions and cook 4 minutes. Add the garlic and cook 1 minute longer. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until the pork is tender. Serve warm. Serves 4
