Rolls
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1 1/2 tsp coffee-flavored liqueur or cooled strong coffee
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup finely chopped macadamia nuts
1 (8 oz) can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Glaze
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp shortening or oil
Heat oven to 350. Lightly grease cookie sheet. In a bowl, combine first 4 ingredients; blend well. Stir in nuts. Separate dough into 8 triangles. Spoon 1 heaping tbspful of cream cheese mixture onto shortest side of each triangle and loosely roll up starting at that end. Place, point side down, on a greased cookie sheet; curve into crescent shapes. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 5 minutes.
Melt glaze ingredients in a microwave to 10-20 seconds stirring occasionally until smooth. Drizzle over warm rolls. Serve warm or cool. Store in refrigerator. Makes 8 crescents.
