1 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/8 tsp pepper
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
1 lb ground beef, sausage, or thinly sliced pepperoni
1/4 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
4-oz can mushrooms, pieces and stems, drained

In a medium skillet brown the ground meat with seasonings to taste. Drain well and set aside. Lightly grease and dust a 12- or 14-inch pizza pan with flour. Prepare batter by mixing flour, salt, Italian seasoning, pepper, eggs, and milk in a small mixing bowl, Pour batter into pan, tilting pan so batter covers bottom.

Arrange topping of meat and onions over batter. Bake on bottom oven rack at 425 for 20-25 minutes or until pizza is deep golden brown. Remove from oven and drizzle with pizza sauce. Sprinkle with cheese, mushrooms and any other desired topping. Return to oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and sauce is bubbly.
