Sauce
12 oz can evaporated milk
1/2 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cup sugar
3 squares unsweetened chocolate

Melt butter and chocolate slowly, remove from heat and stir in sugar. Mixture will be thick, gradually stir in milk. Return to heat and cook slowly until thick, about 20 minutes. Cool completely and add vanilla.

Crust
24-26 chocolate sandwich cookies
1/3 cup butter, melted

Combine crust ingredients and press into a 13x9 inch baking pan. Chill

Spread 1/2 gallon softened peppermint ice cream. Sprinkle with finely chopped pecans and freeze overnight.

Before serving, take pan out of freezer about 30 minutes before slicing. With the servings, spoon sauce over ice cream and top with whipped cream and chopped Andes mint candy. (I use the Andes mint cooking chips.)
