SHRIMP DE JOHNGE

Preheat oven to 425. In a shallow ovenproof pan, add 2 tbsp butter and 1 large clove garlic, minced. Place in the oven to melt. Shell 1 lb uncooked shrimp and chop 1 tbsp parsley.

When butter has melted, add the shrimp and parsley to the pan. Stir gently until they are cooked, and return to oven for not more than 8 minutes. Serve piping hot, in the pan with French bread slices to dunk into pan drippings.
