2 lbs new potatoes, halved
4 large whole garlic cloves
1/4 lb gorgonzola cheese
1/4 cup half-and-half
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste

Place potatoes and garlic in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Add salt and cook until tender. Drain and add cheese, half-and-half, and oil. Mash by hand (electric mixer will make the potatoes gummy). Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
