BEER AND POTATO SOUP

32 oz beer (Guinness)
6 potatoes (Diced)
4 cups heavy cream
4 onions (chopped)
1 celery stalk (diced)
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp chicken bouillon
1 tsp garlic
Salt and pepper
In a saucepan, saute the garlic in butter for about a minute, then add the vegetables and saute for a further 5 minutes until tender.
Add the potatoes and beer. After it has boiled, mash the potatoes into the side of the pot. Add in the sugar and bouillon. Season to your taste. Pour in the cream while mixing. Let it simmer for a few minutes, then serve piping hot.
