1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped green pepper
1 large onion, chopped (1 cup)
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1 tbsp ground sage
1 (16 oz) package cornbread stuffing mix
4 cups whole wheat bread crumbs (about 8 slices)
2 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Saute celery, green pepper and onion in butter in a large skillet until soft. Stir in parsley, poultry seasoning, sage, cornbread stuffing mix, whole wheat crumbs and chicken broth. Stir to mix thoroughly; stir in pecans. Spoon into a buttered 12-cup baking dish. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes. Serves 8
