Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

1 lb soft butter
1 cup confectioners sugar and chopped fine walnuts
3 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
Confectioners sugar

Preheat oven to 350. Whip butter with mixer. Continue mixing on low speed and add sugar and nuts then flour, a few tbsp at a time. Add vanilla. Drop cookie batter by tspfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. The dough will be fairly stiff so just roll the batter into little balls and then press down with a glass to shape. Bake 15-20 minutes. Remove from pan and sprinkle with a little confectioners sugar.
